Today in gymnastics Vin walked on the high beam. Not by himself of course but with me holding him by the underarms. The reason it is so exciting is because last time we tried he was so scared and picked up his feet and had a little fit. So this is a big step.
We also went and visited the charter school we would like to send him to. It is Woodrow Wilson Academy and it was a very nice visit. It is a pretty new school and a very nice facility. The classes are small and everyone gets things like music, art, PE and other things that are dissapearring from traditional schools. They don't wear uniforms, which I liked and the expectations both for academics and socially are very high.
Now we put in an application and hope we get drawn in 3 years. Oh my gosh its only 3.5 years until he goes to school...WOW.
